Reports are coming from IT House that Apple is working on iPad Air 6 that will be configuration update over current generation. This means better processor and more memory but no change in design.
Apple will be upgrading the iPad Air 6 with latest Apple M2 chipset that brings higher performance and brings better efficiency.
Other than newer chipset, we are not expecting any newer changes and this means the Cupertino giant will not be bringing any major upgrades to its iPad lineup this year.
In other words, the Apple iPad Air 6 will still feature 10.9 inch LCD display with 120Hz Pro Motion technology, 8GB RAM which would make it a very fast tablet. WiFi 6E is expected to make its debut with the newer iPad but we are not sure. This newer WiFi version is currently supported by only iPad Pro 11” and 12.9”.
We are also expecting the iPad Pro to feature Apple M3 but that would be debuting next year, not this year.
One thing is for sure that Apple will be bumping prices of iPad Air again this year.
